The Icom IC-M510BB is an advanced black-box style fixed-mount marine VHF transceiver manufactured by Icom Inc. in Japan. Designed for professional commercial vessels, workboats, and helm stations with limited dash space, the M510BB separates the main RF transceiver chassis from the control interface, allowing the main unit to be safely tucked away out of sight while providing full operation via up to three remote CommandMic units.
The system is operated via the supplied HM-195GB/HM-229 style CommandMic, which features a high-contrast backlit LCD screen, full keypad control, and intuitive soft-key navigation. The transceiver incorporates a built-in Class D DSC receiver, integrated NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 connectivity, and a powerful 25-watt RF output. It also supports smart device integration via WLAN for wireless monitoring and intercom functions.
