AMI Marine X2 VDR is a compact, IMO-compliant Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) and Simplified Voyage Data Recorder (S-VDR) system designed for commercial vessels. It continuously records and securely stores essential bridge navigation, communication, audio and vessel data for voyage monitoring, accident investigation, incident analysis and regulatory compliance.
The system can record data from GPS, gyro compass, speed log, AIS, echo sounder, radar, ECDIS, VHF communications, bridge microphones, alarms and other navigation equipment. It incorporates a Main Electronic Unit, touchscreen display, fixed recording capsule and optional float-free capsule, together with PC-based replay software for detailed voyage-data analysis.
The X2 VDR is suitable for both new-build and retrofit installations and is designed to simplify integration with existing shipboard navigation and communication systems.
