The Simrad MARIS ECDIS900 MK15 19″ FPC (4 Serial Ports) is a compact, IMO type-approved Flat Panel Computer (FPC) ECDIS system. Designed for SOLAS-regulated commercial vessels, workboats, and megayachts, this all-in-one unit integrates the marine PC directly behind a 19-inch 5:4 LCD screen.
The “4S” designation indicates 4 integrated NMEA 0183 (RS422) serial ports, making it well-suited for space-constrained bridge consoles and retrofits that require simple sensor wiring without external junction boxes.
Integrated Flat Panel PC Architecture: Combines the processor, display, dual Ethernet, and 4 serial ports into a single housing, reducing cabling and installation footprint.
Familiar Windows Platform: Features a standard Windows-based user interface with drop-down menus, hotkeys, context menus, and mouse/trackball navigation.
