The Icom IC-M330GE is an ultra-compact fixed-mount marine VHF transceiver equipped with an integrated high-sensitivity GPS receiver, manufactured by Icom Inc. in Japan. Designed for space-constrained vessel helms and commercial tenders, the M330GE packs full Class D Digital Selective Calling (DSC) functionality and a 25-watt transmitter into one of the smallest chassis designs in its class.
Featuring a built-in GPS receiver that utilizes GPS, GLONASS, and SBAS systems, the transceiver acquires accurate position, course, and time data instantly without requiring an external GPS antenna hookup—simplifying safety installations and ensuring precise coordinates for DSC distress transmissions. It is housed in an IPX7 waterproof casing and incorporates Icom’s AquaQuake draining function to clear water from the speaker grille.
