The Icom IC-M220 is an ultra-compact fixed-mount marine VHF transceiver featuring built-in Class D Digital Selective Calling (DSC), manufactured by Icom Inc. in Japan. Designed specifically for small commercial vessels, RIBs, workboat tenders, and space-constrained bridge consoles, the M220 delivers full 25-watt output power and advanced marine communication capabilities in one of the smallest footprints in the industry.
Featuring a high-contrast, wide-viewing-angle dot-matrix LCD, the transceiver provides clear channel data and GPS position readouts even under direct sunlight. It includes a built-in dedicated DSC receiver that continuously monitors Channel 70, an IPX7 waterproof front panel, and Icom’s signature AquaQuake water-draining function to clear moisture from the speaker grill.
