Designed for secondary station control on commercial vessels, workboats, and motor yachts, the HM-195GW extends complete operational command of fixed-mount VHF marine transceivers (including the IC-M423G, IC-M506, IC-M605, IC-M510, and IC-M400BB series) to remote locations such as flybridges, bridge wings, or aft steering stations.
Featuring a high-contrast white-backlit dot-matrix display and illuminated keys, the handset mirrors the primary radio’s menu interface, allowing operators to execute Class D DSC calls, change channels, adjust squelch/volume settings, and initiate intercom calls to the main console. Built to withstand open-deck marine exposure, the HM-195GW offers IPX8 submersible protection and incorporates Icom’s AquaQuake water-draining technology.
