he Furuno FAR-30×5 Series is a commercial marine Chart Radar system designed for merchant vessels, offshore vessels, and workboats. It provides accurate detection and tracking of surrounding vessels, land masses, navigational marks, and other targets for safe navigation and collision avoidance.
The series is available in X-Band and S-Band configurations, including both magnetron and solid-state NXT versions. It features Automatic Clutter Elimination (ACE), advanced target tracking, target trails, and high-resolution radar presentation. The radar can be integrated with other bridge navigation equipment such as ECDIS, AIS, GPS/GNSS, gyrocompass, speed log, and other navigation sensors.
