The EM-TRAK SART100 is an AIS Search & Rescue Transmitter (AIS-SART) designed for use aboard lifeboats, liferafts and other survival craft. It uses an integrated GNSS receiver to determine the unit’s position and transmits the position and identification information over the dedicated AIS channels. This allows nearby AIS-equipped vessels and rescue teams to quickly locate survivors.
