The AMI Marine X991-R is a digital Rate of Turn indicator designed to display a vessel’s turning rate during navigation and manoeuvring. It accepts standard gyro signals, including stepper and synchro inputs, as well as NMEA 0183 heading or ROT data. If ROT data is unavailable, the unit can calculate the turning rate from heading information. It also provides NMEA heading and ROT outputs for external equipment.
