The AMI X903-X is a NMEA 0183 to Synchro converter designed to allow modern gyrocompasses that provide digital NMEA heading data to drive existing analogue synchro heading repeaters, autopilots and other navigation equipment. It is particularly useful when upgrading a vessel’s gyro while retaining existing synchro-based equipment.
