The AMI R550Ni is a compact, network-enabled Automatic Identification System (AIS) receiver designed to receive AIS transmissions from nearby vessels and make the received vessel data available to compatible navigation systems through an Ethernet network. It can support maritime situational awareness by providing AIS target information to compatible onboard displays and monitoring systems.
