The AMI Marine MD74RDI Digital Rudder Angle Indicator is a compact marine navigation instrument designed to provide clear and accurate indication of a vessel’s rudder angle on the bridge. It receives rudder sensor information through NMEA 0183/RS422 and displays the rudder position digitally with 0.1° resolution.
The unit provides Port and Starboard indication using a high-visibility LED bar, allowing the bridge team to monitor rudder movement during steering, manoeuvring, and normal navigation. Its compact panel-mount design makes it suitable for integration into bridge consoles and steering control systems.
