The AMI Marine USG-2 USB to Serial Gateway (SKU: ACT-0075) is a bidirectional interface that connects a computer or laptop to a marine NMEA 0183 data network through a USB port. It supports NMEA 0183, RS-422 and RS-232 communication, allowing marine navigation instruments to exchange serial data with compatible computer software. Its opto-isolated input and ISO-Drive™ isolated output help protect connected equipment, reduce ground-loop problems and improve electrical safety. It also creates a virtual COM port for use with compatible marine navigation and monitoring applications.
