The ACR GlobalFix V6 is a 406 MHz EPIRB with GNSS and Return Link Service (RLS). It transmits distress information through the Cospas-Sarsat satellite system and uses GPS/Galileo/GLONASS for positioning. A 121.5 MHz homing signal and visible/infrared strobe lights assist rescue teams in locating the beacon.
