The Icom SP-41 is a high-performance external desktop communication speaker manufactured by Icom Inc. in Japan. Purpose-built to complement Icom’s HF/VHF/UHF marine transceivers, communications receivers, and base station radios (such as the IC-7610, IC-7300, IC-9700, and IC-R8600), the SP-41 delivers audio reproduction while reducing background noise and interference.
Equipped with two dual-position audio filters (High-Cut and Low-Cut), the SP-41 allows operators to tailor sound characteristics to boost voice intelligibility in weak or noisy signal conditions. It features dual 3.5 mm inputs selectable via a front-panel switch, a front-mounted headphone jack, an audio mute switch, and a flip-out tilt stand matching transceiver display angles.
Key Features:
• Selectable Dual Audio Filters: Integrated High-Cut (Cut/Wide) and Low-Cut (Cut1/Cut2) tone controls suppress high-frequency noise and low-frequency hum.
• Dual Input Connections: Accepts two separate audio input sources (Input A / Input B) selectable via front-panel toggle switch.
• Front-Panel Headphone Jack & Mute Switch: Standard 1/4-inch (6.3 mm) headphone jack automatically silences the main speaker for private watchkeeping.
• Matching Ergonomic Design: Styled to align aesthetically and ergonomically with Icom desktop transceivers, featuring an adjustable flip-out tilt stand.
