The CMJ-462E Gyro I/F Board is an interface processing board that takes raw gyrocompass signals (typically sync/step or similar heading pulses) and converts them into formats usable by navigation equipment such as ECDIS, radar, autopilot, or integrated bridge systems. It essentially acts as a translator and conditioning board for heading data.
This board is typically installed within a navigation processor or interface chassis where gyro data from the ship’s gyrocompass is required.
