YDK Technologies Autopilot PT-500 Series.

PT500 autopilot system is designed to maintain a ship’s heading under automation while commanding its steering gear. It consists of a follow-up mechanism as a pilot system and can act with various actuators such as solenoid valves and torque motors and does so in line with various types of steering gear. The system is applicable to general merchant ships. The PT500 also has a Batch Noise Adaptive Autopilot Controller (BNAAC) that maximizes the use of rudder and fuel consumption by automatically adjusting the ship’s disturbance model and rudder control gain. This improves rudder controllability and enhances fuel efficiency.
