CC-06 Straight Leg Course Control Unit possesses Advanced Control for Ecology (ACE) feature, which is designed to enhance the performance of the installed PR-6000 Autopilots. The system automatically calculates the optimal path between the destination and the present location of the ship taking external factors such as tides into consideration. The system minimizes route deviations and conserves rudder consumption, enabling the ship to follow the most efficient route. This translates to reduced sailing distances, less fuel use, and less helmsman fatigue. The system is easy to operate and can be toggled between Heading Control and ACE at the push of a button.
