The Samyung SRG-250DN is a 250-Watt MF/HF radiotelephone system manufactured by Samyung ENC Co., Ltd. in South Korea. Designed for commercial ocean vessels, deep-sea fishing ships, and workboats operating in GMDSS Sea Areas A2, A3, and A4, the system provides long-range voice communications, Class A Digital Selective Calling (DSC), and Narrow Band Direct Printing (NBDP/Telex) capabilities.
Constructed with a heavy-duty aluminum chassis in a compact transceiver housing, the SRG-250DN uses advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to filter atmospheric background noise and enhance incoming voice clarity. Featuring a built-in 6-channel DSC watchkeeping receiver that continuously monitors all mandatory distress frequencies, the SRG-250DN can be integrated with the SN-100 terminal, keyboard, and printer to form a complete GMDSS communications desk.
Key Features:
• SOLAS & GMDSS Class A Compliant: Meets IMO performance standards and ITU-R M.493-14 / M.541-10 recommendations for mandatory shipboard safety radiocommunications.
• 250W Transmission Power: Delivers high output signal power for extended-range communication with selectable power reduction levels (50W, 100W, 250W).
• Dedicated 6-Channel DSC Watch Receiver: Simultaneously monitors all six maritime distress and safety frequencies (2187.5, 4207.5, 6312, 8414.5, 12577, and 16804.5 kHz).
• Advanced DSP Signal Filtering: Incorporates digital filters to reduce vessel noise and improve voice reception in difficult atmospheric conditions.
• High-Visibility LCD Display: Large digital display presenting active channel, exact frequency, signal strength, and transmit/receive status.
• Integrated NBDP (Telex) Capability: Seamlessly interfaces with the SN-100 terminal unit for automated telex message processing and printing.
