Unlike modern digital control heads, this specific model is an analog monitoring and control interface primarily used in conjunction with the Sailor N2174 Battery Charger and the Compact 2000 HF SSB radio program.
The H2180 is designed to provide real-time analog feedback and manual override capabilities for a vessel’s power and radio systems.
Left Meter (Ammeter): Displays the charging/discharging current (Amperes) on a scale of -80A to +80A.
Right Meter (Voltmeter): Displays the battery voltage (Volts) on a scale of 0V to 40V.
Power Switch (Left): A rugged toggle for the main system ON/OFF status.
Mode Switch (Right): Allows the operator to switch the charging system between MAN (Manual) and AUTO (Automatic) modes.
