The NSR MOB-3000 is a compact AIS Man Overboard beacon designed to help locate crew members who fall into the sea. It transmits the person’s GNSS position over AIS channels so that compatible AIS equipment on the vessel and nearby ships can receive the alert. It supports manual activation and automatic activation by a water sensor, has a built-in GNSS receiver, and is designed for mounting on a life jacket.
