The SAILOR 6280 AIS is a Class A Automatic Identification System (AIS) transponder designed for commercial and SOLAS vessels. It automatically transmits and receives essential vessel information, including MMSI, ship name, call sign, position, course over ground (COG), speed over ground (SOG), heading, rate of turn and voyage-related information.
The SAILOR 6280 is designed for reliable integration with the ship’s bridge navigation equipment and can exchange AIS information with other vessels, shore stations and maritime authorities. It is suitable for integration with ECDIS, radar/ARPA, GNSS/GPS, gyrocompass and speed log systems.
