The Raymarine Pathfinder 32 is a top-tier, IMO Type Approved CAT 1 Commercial Radar System designed for SOLAS-compliant vessels over 10,000 gross tons, high-end superyachts, and large offshore service vessels (OSV).

Moving away from legacy magnetron units, the Pathfinder platform leverages solid-state X-band technology combined with CHIRP pulse compression. This achieves target detection performance that exceeds a traditional 12kW magnetron while significantly cutting down on routine maintenance.

System Architecture & Breakdown

The Pathfinder 32 is sold as a complete, multi-component commercial kit consisting of:

• The Display (E70710): A massive 32-inch widescreen active-matrix TFT display running UHD 4K native resolution ($3840 \times 2160$), treated with HydroTough™ nano-coating to repel water and oils.

• The Scanner (E70621): A 6-foot, low-profile, fan-less open array antenna built with a 110W solid-state transceiver.

• The Processor: A compact, fan-less black box processor that handles system radar tracking and core logic out of sight.

• Data Collection Unit (DCU / A80792): An isolated bridge interface hub that provides 8 opto-isolated serial inputs and 6 ISO-Drive™ isolated outputs for secure NMEA connections.

• Control Interface: A heavy-duty marine trackball console for rapid target acquisition and menu navigation.
