The Raymarine Pathfinder 27 is a Type-Approved IMO CAT 1 Commercial Radar System engineered for commercial deep-water shipping, cargo vessels, naval applications, and large workboats requiring strict SOLAS compliance.
Driven by solid-state technology rather than a traditional magnetron, the system delivers target detection that exceeds a conventional 12kW magnetron while requiring significantly lower long-term maintenance.
The Pathfinder 27 is built as a modular commercial bridge system consisting of:
27″ Widescreen Display: High-resolution (1920 x 1080 FHD) color active-matrix TFT display with LED backlighting.
6ft Open Array Antenna: A rugged, fan-less slotted array that reduces mechanical wear and acoustic noise.
Black Box Processor: A compact, fan-less, remotely mounted processing unit that simplifies console installation.
Data Collection Unit (DCU): A high-density interface box (A80792) handling extensive NMEA and serial sensor data.
Control Unit: System includes a dedicated professional trackball control panel.
