The Raymarine Pathfinder 24 (System SKU: T70594) is an IMO Type Approved CAT 2 Commercial Radar System engineered for SOLAS-compliant vessels up to 10,000 gross tons. This includes offshore supply vessels (OSV), commercial workboats, tugs, deep-water cargo carriers, and luxury megayachts.

Built entirely on a solid-state X-band platform with CHIRP pulse compression, it provides incredible target detection that matches or outperforms a traditional 12kW pulse radar, while dropping the high operational maintenance associated with magnetrons. The Pathfinder 24 package couples this high-performance transceiver with a generous, widescreen 24-inch high-bright console monitor.

System Architecture & Package Layout

The T70594 commercial kit comes complete with all elements required for a Type-Approved bridge setup:

• The Display (E70664-IMO): A 24-inch widescreen glass console display featuring professional WUXGA ($1920 \times 1200$) resolution, ultra-bright 1,300-nit illumination, and a rugged HydroTough™ nano-coating that repels water and oils.

• The Scanner Unit (E70621): A 6-foot fan-less open array housing a 110W solid-state transceiver with lightweight, small-diameter interconnect cables (25-meter standard cable included).

• Data Collection Unit (DCU / A80792): The central system interface hub providing full galvanic isolation between core radar processors and external bridge sensors.

• Control Console: An ergonomic, heavy-duty marine trackball assembly built for immediate target marking and menu navigation in heavy seas.
