The Raymarine AIS700 is a Class B Automatic Identification System (AIS) transceiver designed mainly for yachts, sailing boats, and small commercial vessels.
The AIS700 from Raymarine is a Class B Automatic Identification System (AIS) transceiver designed for use with Raymarine multifunction navigation display systems. As a Class B AIS transceiver, the AIS700 not only receives broadcasts from other vessels, it also transmits your own boat’s information too helping you to be seen on other vessels’ systems.
It works by both:
- 📡 Transmitting your boat’s position (so others can see you)
- 📡 Receiving nearby vessel data (so you can see them on your chartplotter or display)
- Full AIS transmit + receive (Class B system)
- Built-in GPS receiver
- Integrated VHF antenna splitter (uses your existing radio antenna)
- Compatible with:
- NMEA 2000
- NMEA 0183
- Raymarine SeaTalkNG
- “Silent mode” (can stop transmitting when needed)
