The NSR NEB-3000 AIS EPIRB is designed to transmit maritime distress alerts and position information to support search-and-rescue operations. It combines satellite distress transmission at 406 MHz with AIS position broadcasting and a 121.5 MHz homing signal. Its built-in GNSS receiver provides position data, while RLS provides a return-link capability. The beacon supports manual activation and automatic deployment from a float-free enclosure.
