The Marinelite HDL9000 Dual Axis Doppler Speed Log is a high-performance marine navigation instrument designed to provide precise measurement of a vessel’s longitudinal (fore/aft) and transverse (port/starboard) speeds using advanced Doppler sonar technology. By transmitting high-frequency acoustic signals and analyzing the Doppler shift of the reflected echoes from the seabed or water mass, the system continuously calculates the ship’s speed and distance with high accuracy. It supports both bottom tracking in shallow water and water tracking in deep water, ensuring reliable performance under a wide range of operating conditions.
The HDL9000 is suitable for commercial vessels, offshore ships, fishing vessels, and research ships.
