The Lilley & Gillie Walker P7007 is a compact, modern Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System (BNWAS) manufactured by John Lilley & Gillie Ltd. in the United Kingdom. Designed to monitor bridge activity and detect Officer of the Watch (OOW) disability or fatigue, the Walker P7007 safeguards vessel operation by initiating escalating visual and audible alerts if watchkeeping activity ceases.
Compliant with IMO resolutions and IEC performance standards for mandatory BNWAS carriage on vessels over 150 gross tonnage, the P7007 features a dimmable touch-sensitive OLED display, integrated motion detection sensors, and key-switch setup protection. The system’s modular architecture allows flexible configuration using remote reset/repeater units (P7008), emergency call buttons (P7010), and multi-stage audio sounders (P7011/P7012) across the wheelhouse, Master’s cabin, and crew quarters.
Key Features:
• IMO & SOLAS Compliant: Fully type-approved to IMO requirements and IEC standards (IEC 62616, IEC 61162-1, IEC 62288) for mandatory BNWAS installation on commercial vessels over 150 GT.
• Staged Escalating Alarm Sequence: Triggers a 4-step warning sequence (visual bridge alert after 3–12 minutes dormant time -> 1st stage bridge audio 15s later -> 2nd stage remote audio 15s later -> 3rd stage remote audio 90s later).
• Integrated Motion Sensing: Includes built-in motion sensors on the main unit and P7008 remote units to automatically reset dormant timers upon officer movement.
• Touch-Sensitive OLED Interface: Dimmable 256×64 pixel OLED display with intuitive touch controls and key switch setup lock to prevent unauthorized changes.
• Modular System Architecture: Supports up to four P7008 remote reset/repeater units, P7009 remote reset units, P7010 emergency call units, and P7011/P7012 audio sounders.
• Battery Backup & NMEA Integration: Features an internal backup battery for power failure protection and NMEA 0183 output ($ALR) for integrated bridge systems.
