The NT1750 EPR Electronic Pitch and Roll Inclinometer is a high-precision, MED Wheelmark type-approved marine motion sensor and bridge display system. Fully compliant with IMO Resolution MSC.363(92) and ISO 19659 performance standards for mandatory electronic inclinometer carriage, the NT1750 continuously measures, displays, and records vessel dynamic motion parameters, including heel angle, roll amplitude, roll period, and pitch.
Utilizing advanced solid-state 3-axis MEMS sensor technology, the NT1750 operates free from mechanical wear, friction, and fluid lag inherent in traditional mechanical inclinometers. The system transmits high-frequency NMEA 0183 motion data directly to Voyage Data Recorders (VDR), ECDIS, and Bridge Alert Management Systems (BAMS), providing watchkeeping officers with critical real-time stability monitoring to support safe cargo operations, passenger comfort, and heavy-weather navigation.
Key Features:
• IMO MSC.363(92) Type Approved: Meets mandatory SOLAS requirements for electronic inclinometers on container ships, passenger vessels, and commercial merchant fleets.
• Solid-State MEMS Technology: Triple-axis accelerometer and gyro sensor array delivers instantaneous, drift-free pitch and roll measurement.
• Comprehensive Dynamic Tracking: Simultaneously displays current roll/pitch angle, maximum roll amplitude (port/starboard), roll period (seconds), and permanent heel offset.
• Direct VDR & BAMS Output: Generates standard NMEA 0183 (IEC 61162-1) sentences ($EIXDR, $EIPTA, $EIRTA) for continuous digital recording on Voyage Data Recorders.
• Configurable Warning Alarms: Features adjustable visual and audible alarm thresholds for excessive heel angles, severe roll periods, and system faults.
• Color Graphic Bridge Display: High-contrast color display with full-range night-vision dimming for unobstructed wheelhouse operation.
