The JRC NCR-333 NAVTEX Receiver is a modern GMDSS-compliant NAVTEX system designed for installation on SOLAS ships, cargo vessels, tankers, and offshore platforms. It automatically receives and displays Marine Safety Information (MSI) transmitted from coastal radio stations.
The NCR-333 continuously monitors NAVTEX frequencies and automatically receives important safety messages such as:
- ⚠ Navigational warnings (hazards, route changes)
- 🌦 Weather forecasts and storm warnings
- 🚨 Search and Rescue (SAR) alerts
- 🧊 Ice reports and maritime hazards
👉 Messages are:
- Automatically decoded
- Displayed on screen
- Stored in memory
- Forwarded to other ship systems (e.g., ECDIS)
