The JMC RT-2509 is a professional, compact Class D Digital Selective Calling (DSC) Marine VHF transceiver. Manufactured by Japan Marina Co., Ltd. (JMC), it is specifically engineered for installations where space is limited but high-performance communication and safety are required.
Dual Receiver Design: Features two independent VHF receivers, including a dedicated receiver for continuous monitoring of Channel 70. This ensures you never miss a DSC alert or distress call even while communicating on another channel.
Integrated GNSS: Includes a built-in GNSS receiver that supports multiple satellite constellations, including GPS, GLONASS, and SBAS (WAAS/EGNOS/MSAS/GAGAN).
Submersible Waterproofing: Rated IPX7, allowing the unit to be submerged in water at a depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes.
User Interface: Equipped with a 2.4-inch full dot-matrix backlit LCD. Navigation is simplified through a rotary encoder knob for volume and squelch, plus four programmable soft-keys (F1–F4) for rapid menu access.
