The Icom HM-214H is a rugged, heavy-duty hand microphone manufactured by Icom Inc. in Japan. Purpose-built for marine communications, the HM-214H is supplied as the standard handpiece for Icom’s Class E DSC MF/HF marine transceivers, including the IC-M803 and IC-M804 series.
Designed to withstand harsh wheelhouse and open-deck environments, the HM-214H features IPX7 waterproof construction and an ergonomic non-slip housing. It houses a high-intelligibility electret condenser microphone element that suppresses ambient background noise from engine rooms and weather. Equipped with a tactile Push-To-Talk (PTT) switch, dedicated Channel Up/Down control keys, and a heavy-duty coiled cord with strain relief, the HM-214H delivers reliable operational control directly from the handset.
