The Raymarine Ray63 is a full-featured marine VHF radio designed as a versatile communication hub for mid-sized vessels. Styled to match the Axiom and Element series multifunction displays, it offers a larger chassis than the Ray53, allowing for expanded controls and dual-station capabilities.
Integrated GPS/GNSS Receiver: Features a built-in 72-channel GNSS receiver with an internal antenna. It also includes an external TNC connector for an optional passive antenna if the radio is mounted deep within a metal or carbon-fiber console.
Multi-Station Expansion: Supports up to two RayMic wired remote stations. This allows for full-function radio control and intercom capability from a second location, such as a flybridge or a tuna tower.
Dual-Protocol Networking: Includes both NMEA 2000 (via SeaTalkng) and NMEA 0183 interfaces, ensuring it can share GPS and DSC data with both modern and legacy chartplotters.
Class D DSC: Provides professional-grade safety with a dedicated channel 70 receiver for continuous distress watch.
Oversized Controls: Features a large, high-contrast LCD and oversized rotary dials and keys, making it much easier to operate while wearing gloves or in heavy seas.
