The Garmin Reactor™ 40 Steer-by-wire Standard Corepack Without GHC™ Autopilot Instrument (PN: 010-00705-90) is an advanced autopilot system designed specifically for vessels equipped with electronic steer-by-wire steering systems, such as SeaStar Optimus, Yanmar Marine ZT370, ZF 2800 Pod drives, and Yamaha Helm Master. Powered by a solid-state 9-axis Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS), this corepack minimizes heading error, course deviation, rudder movement, and overall power usage while maintaining reliable course-holding performance even in rough sea conditions. Because this specific configuration omits the dedicated GHC™ helm display unit, all autopilot operations, setup, and navigation modes—including Auto Guidance+™ routing, step turns, and wind hold—are controlled directly via networked, compatible Garmin chartplotters and multifunction displays over an NMEA 2000® network. The package includes the Reactor 40 Course Computer Unit (CCU), interconnect cables, an alarm buzzer, and the necessary NMEA 2000 backbone hardware to integrate heading data seamlessly into your onboard radar and chart overlay systems.
