Furuno Electric FA-150 is a Universal Automatic Identification System (U-AIS) transponder designed for commercial and SOLAS vessels. It automatically exchanges vessel identification, position, course, speed and other navigation information with other AIS-equipped vessels and shore/base stations. The system consists primarily of the FA-1501 transponder unit, FA-1502 display unit and GPS antenna unit.
