The Digital Yacht AIT5000 is a high-performance Class B+ AIS transponder designed for yachts, leisure vessels, fast motorboats, workboats, and non-mandated commercial vessels. It uses SOTDMA (Self-Organized Time Division Multiple Access) technology and provides 5 W AIS transmission power, offering higher performance and faster reporting than conventional 2 W Class B AIS units.
A key feature of the AIT5000 is its integrated ZeroLoss VHF antenna splitter, allowing a single main VHF antenna to be shared between the AIS transponder and VHF radio. The unit also provides Wi-Fi, NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000, and USB connectivity, making it suitable for integration with chartplotters, PCs, tablets, smartphones, and marine navigation applications.
The AIT5000 includes an integrated NMEA 0183 multiplexer and a web-based configuration interface. Its Wi-Fi network can connect up to seven devices simultaneously and supports TCP and UDP protocols.
