The AMI R450-D is a compact, dual-channel Automatic Identification System (AIS) receiver designed to receive and decode AIS signals transmitted by nearby vessels and maritime AIS-equipped devices. It receives AIS data on both international AIS frequencies, 161.975 MHz and 162.025 MHz, and distributes the information to compatible navigation, monitoring and vessel-tracking systems through Ethernet and built-in Wi-Fi connectivity. The receiver provides vessel information such as MMSI, vessel name, position, speed over ground (SOG), course over ground (COG), heading and navigational status. It is suitable for shore-based AIS monitoring, port surveillance, coastal vessel tracking and integration with compatible marine software and network systems. The R450-D is a receiving-only device and does not transmit the vessel’s own AIS information.
