The AMI MIC-0013 External Microphone is designed for use with AMI Marine X-VDR, X-VHFR and X-MDR data recorder systems. It captures bridge conversations and ambient audio for recording and later playback. The microphone features IP65 weatherproof protection, a balanced 600-ohm audio output to reduce electrical interference, an automatic self-test function and environmental controls for audio optimisation. It operates on 12 V DC supplied by the recorder’s Main Electronic Unit (MEU).
