The Icom IC-M423GE is a high-performance fixed-mount marine VHF transceiver featuring an integrated high-sensitivity GPS receiver, manufactured by Icom Inc. in Japan. Built for commercial workboats, bridge consoles, and pleasure craft, the M423GE delivers robust 25-watt output power combined with Class D Digital Selective Calling (DSC) and active noise-canceling technology.
Equipped with a built-in GPS receiver, the transceiver processes position, course, and time data instantly without requiring an external GPS antenna connection, ensuring accurate coordinates are automatically transmitted during DSC distress alerts. It features an IPX7 waterproof front panel, Icom’s AquaQuake water-draining speaker function, and full compatibility with the optional command microphone (HM-195GB) for multi-station control.
