The Raytheon Anschütz SYNAPSIS Radar NX is an IMO type-approved marine radar application designed for commercial ship navigation and collision avoidance. It provides radar video processing, automatic target tracking, AIS/radar target association and advanced clutter suppression for clear presentation of the surrounding traffic situation.
The system can be used with Anschütz SST solid-state radar transceivers, providing X-band and S-band configurations. The SST technology eliminates the magnetron and uses digital signal generation and processing for improved reliability and reduced maintenance requirements.
