The SIMRAD HALO 3000 Series is a high-performance solid-state X-band pulse-compression open-array radar designed for offshore cruising, yachts, sportfishing, and demanding marine navigation. It provides long-range detection up to 96 NM while maintaining close-range detection from approximately 6 m.

The series uses 130 W solid-state technology and is available with 4 ft and 6 ft open-array antennas. Advanced features include Bird+ mode, AutoTrack, ZoneTrack, VelocityTrack, Beam Sharpening, and Dual Range, providing enhanced target detection, tracking, and situational awareness in challenging conditions.

The HALO 3004 uses a 4 ft array, while the HALO 3006 uses a 6 ft array. The radar is designed for fast availability, with instant operation from standby and a typical cold-start time of 16–25 seconds. It is weather-resistant to IPX6 and designed to operate from −25°C to +55°C.
