The KODEN MDC-7012P is a professional 12 kW X-band black-box marine radar designed for commercial vessels and professional navigation applications. Koden lists it under its IMO Products / Marine Radar range. It provides radar ranges from 0.125 to 64 NM and supports 4 ft, 6 ft, or 9 ft open-array antennas.
It includes built-in TT/ARPA tracking for up to 100 targets and an AIS interface for displaying up to 900 targets. Automatic gain, automatic STC, and high-speed short-range sampling are provided for improved target visibility and operation.
