The Furuno FAR-15×8 Series is a commercial X-Band marine radar designed for merchant vessels and workboats. It provides high-quality target detection and tracking for navigation and collision avoidance, with Automatic Clutter Elimination (ACE), Fast Target Tracking™, built-in AIS connectivity and radar overlay capability with connected ECDIS. Furuno states that the series supports IACS UR E27 and conforms to applicable IEC 62388 and IEC 62288 standards.
The series is available in 12 kW and 25 kW magnetron configurations, with 15-inch or 19-inch marine displays depending on the installation category.
