The Ocean Signal safeSEA S100 is a compact 9 GHz X-band radar SART designed to help rescue vessels locate survival craft. When activated, it remains in standby until interrogated by an X-band radar, then transmits a series of pulses that appear on the searching vessel’s radar as a line of dots, providing the bearing and range indication toward the survival craft.
