The Garmin GND™ 10 Black Box Bridge (Part Number 010-01226-00) is a central marine integration gateway designed to convert and bridge communications between Nexus® instruments and NMEA 2000® network systems. It allows vessel operators and tactical sailors to integrate high-precision Nexus equipment—such as gWind™, gWind™ Race, and legacy Nexus transducers—directly into a broader Garmin marine network, sharing critical wind, water, and environmental data across GPSMAP® chartplotters and GMI™/GNX™ instrument displays.
Housed in a compact, IPX7 waterproof enclosure designed for secure bulkhead mounting, the GND 10 features dedicated Nexus network, NMEA 2000, and USB ports. The integrated USB connection enables direct plug-and-play connectivity to an onboard PC, allowing mariners to utilize tactical sailing software (such as Expedition, NexusRace™, or Mainstay) for advanced sensor calibration, firmware updates, and real-time polar performance analysis. Powered directly off the NMEA 2000 backbone with minimal power draw, the module delivers seamless, low-latency data translation across onboard helm electronics.
