The Marinelite HDL9000 Dual Axis Doppler Speed Log is a high-performance marine navigation instrument designed to provide precise measurement of a vessel’s longitudinal (fore/aft) and transverse (port/starboard) speeds using advanced Doppler sonar technology. By transmitting high-frequency acoustic signals and analyzing the Doppler shift of the reflected echoes from the seabed or water mass, the system continuously calculates the ship’s speed and distance with high accuracy. It supports both bottom tracking in shallow water and water tracking in deep water, ensuring reliable performance under a wide range of operating conditions.
The HDL9000 is suitable for commercial vessels, offshore ships, fishing vessels, and research ships. It provides real-time speed information for safe navigation, docking, maneuvering, dynamic positioning, and voyage monitoring. The system is designed for seamless integration with bridge navigation equipment such as ECDIS, Radar, AIS, Voyage Data Recorder (VDR), Autopilot, and Integrated Bridge Systems (IBS) through standard marine communication interfaces. It offers stable operation, strong anti-interference capability, and dependable performance in both coastal and deep-sea environments.
