The Raymarine Pathfinder 19 is an IMO type-approved, solid-state X-band commercial radar system categorized as a CAT 3 SOLAS system. Designed specifically for commercial vessels, workboats, offshore supply vessels (OSVs), and superyachts up to 500 GT (and approved for vessels up to 10,000 tons), it delivers professional-grade navigation and collision avoidance using solid-state technology rather than traditional, high-maintenance magnetrons.
IMO Type Approval: Fully compliant with International Maritime Organization (IMO) performance standards, including IEC 62288 (presentation of navigation information) and IEC 62388 (shipborne radar performance requirements).
Solid-State CHIRP & Beam Sharpening: Utilizes solid-state pulse compression to deliver target detection and resolution that exceeds a traditional 12kW magnetron, ensuring clear target separation even in heavy sea clutter or torrential downpours.
Streamlined Installation: The entire system is engineered for simple retrofitting. The scanner unit is roughly half the weight of comparable commercial open arrays, and it utilizes small-diameter interconnect cables to significantly shorten cable routing times.
HydroTough™ Display Protection: The professional monitor features a specialized nano-coating that repels water, salt spray, and oil contaminants, preserving high sunlight readability and preventing touch or optical distortions.
