The Raymarine Pathfinder 16 is a type-approved CAT 3 SOLAS commercial marine radar system designed for vessels up to 500 gross tons (GT), including workboats, commercial fishing vessels, superyachts, and tugs.

Built around a solid-state X-band transceiver utilizing CHIRP pulse compression and advanced beam sharpening technology, it provides superior target separation and high long-range resolution without relying on a traditional magnetron. Its 110W solid-state design delivers target detection performance that exceeds a conventional 12kW magnetron while requiring significantly less maintenance, faster cold-starts, and lower power consumption.

The system features an intuitive user interface engineered to maximize situational awareness without obstructing the primary radar window. The included 16-inch high-definition display is protected by Raymarine’s HydroTough™ nano-coating technology, making it highly resistant to salt, water, and oily contaminants common in commercial wheelhouses.
