The Garmin GT36-TM and GT8HW-IH Bundle is a comprehensive sonar solution designed specifically for boats with fiberglass hulls. This dual-transducer package combines high-speed depth tracking with ultra-high-definition scanning, providing a complete underwater picture regardless of vessel speed or water depth.
By splitting the sonar duties between a transom-mount scanning unit and an in-hull traditional unit, this bundle ensures you never lose bottom contact while on plane, while still delivering photographic-quality images of structure when you reach your fishing spot.
GT36-TM (Transom Mount): A dedicated scanning transducer that provides Ultra High-Definition ClearVü and SideVü. It uses 455 kHz for range and 800/1,000 kHz for extreme detail.
GT8HW-IH (In-Hull Mount): A CHIRP traditional sonar transducer that is mounted inside the hull (no holes required through the boat). It features a wide-beam signal (150-240 kHz) designed to maintain accurate depth readings and fish targets at high speeds.
Y-Cable: Includes a specialized cable to connect both transducers into a single 12-pin port on your compatible Garmin chartplotter.

This bundle includes a 12-pin Y-cable designed to combine the signals from both units into a single 12-pin port on your Garmin chartplotter. The GT8HW-IH must be mounted in a solid fiberglass section of the hull to function correctly; it will not shoot through wood, aluminum, or cored hulls.
